The Varsity Super-A team reclaimed the Region 11 Volleyball Championship last night by defeating St. Alphonsus Super-A. The team capped off their undefeated Regional season by beating St. Alphonsus in two games. Strong skills all around allowed the team to reclaim the Region 11 Championship. Congratulations to Coach Ehrlich, C. Black, K. Cannon, K. Collette, R. Ehrlich, K. Flanagan, G. Pio, C. Tygh, and G. Viscounte. The team will now go on to the Archdiocesan Playoffs.

An added success was the Varsity A3 team defeating St. Alphonsus A in tywo games to win the Varsity A Consolation Playoff Series. This team improved all season and played a very strong match to beat St. Alphonsus. Congratulations to them on a very scuccessful season. Congratulations to Coaches Powell, Filomeno, and Powell and players L. Cresta, K. Falcone, M. McAllister, L. Calvin, A. Fasano, D. Lafond, M. O'Leary, and C. Powell.

The Varsity A2 team finished with a spectacular 7-1 record and won the right to participate in the Varsity Super-A Playoffs. Facing a strong St. Alphonsus Super-A team, the Varsity A2 team fought hard but ended up on the short end of the scoreboard, losing 2 games to St. Alphonsus. Still a very successful season for Coach Rieder, N. Abraham, D. Barron, J. DeCarolis, J. Filomeno, E. Morris, M. Plunkett, R. Renn, and S. Hober.

The Varsity B1 team, coached by newcomers Coach Carr and Coach Walch, continued to improve throughout the season, never giving up in their quest for that elusive first win. Their quest met with success as they pulled together to win in their final match of the season, proving that determination and teamwork lead to success. Congratulations to the coaches and players M.
